Chalking and mark making activities allow children to explore ideas and unlock their creativity.

As well as the traditional chalking on the playground, children can be provided with chalk boards, canvases, paper, paint and other items.

Chalks boards can be fixed against many play structures to create areas that encourage imagination and learning.

Mark making areas can make a blank wall a child's favourite place.

The nursery had an enclosed outdoor play space that needed redeveloping with new features. The staff particularly wanted a shelter so that the children could access the outdoor area in any weather.
