A post matrix is a grid of columns that can be used by children for a number of play scenarios.

These grids of posts can be used as a prompt for imaginative play and combined with other materials, such as sheets to be used as a play house / den. Alternatively, post matrixes are popular during physical play as children can run and weave between them.

Children also enjoy hanging items between the posts such as wind chimes and other sensory play objects.
