The builder had erected a new children's centre in the grounds of Epworth Primary School. The outdoor play space had been designed by the local authority architect.
The design included; red wet pour safety surface, a path of different textures for wheeled toys, willow tunnel and willow dome, a stage area, a tunnel through a mound and bench seating. Down the side of the building some raised planters with decking surround were built and installed. Before any work could start we had to arrange to have all the surrounding trees and shrubs pruned.
The area had been excavated by the builders during the building work so once all the play elements were installed the remaining area was built up with topsoil and new turf was laid.
