The nursery had an enclosed outdoor play space that needed redeveloping with new features. The staff particularly wanted a shelter so that the children could access the outdoor area in any weather.
Newby Leisure supplied and installed a Nash style shelter with wet pour safety surface underneath. Within this area were some poles for den making.
Away from the shelter was another area of wet pour safety surface, and around this a track was formed for wheeled toys using thermoplastic line markings. This space also included a small open shelter for role play.
The nursery already had a playhouse so a path of different textured slabs and bricks was formed to lead to it. ,Chalkboards were fixed to the fence for mark making and writing.
