As part of a larger project to develop the outdoor play area, the school wanted to utilise an area behind a storage shed for role play and den making.
The Post Matrix (or Log Forest) was installed with Wet Pour Safety Surface. Although no critical fall height was needed this gave an all weather surface to play on. The posts have hooks on for hanging chimes, mobiles or streamers. They can also be draped with sheets or nets for den making.
The rest of the play space was developed to include a grass mound with 'Twigdomes', a tarmac path with road markings and a bridge, a fenced area for digging and planting, log stepping stones and boulders.
