The ground in the school play area had been found to be contaminated. Newby Leisure were given the task of removing the existing play equipment so that the soil could be excavated.
A major building contractor had been given the job of removing all the contaminated soil.
The play equipment was removed, refurbished in our workshop and stored until it was required to be re-installed.
All the surface around the play equipment was destroyed during the removal of the soil so this was also replaced by Newby Leisure with new wet pour safety surface and artificial grass.
A section of old fence that had to be removed for access was also replaced with new.
